What is my user ID?

A user ID is a unique identifier that can be used to verify your identity to a computer system. Your user ID may be made up of any characters found on the keyboard except spaces. This information is used to identify you to the system and it should never be shared with anyone. Your userid is used along with your password to allow you to access the system.

This identifier should be kept secure and is separate from your email address. It is often used to log on to sites and apps that require a username and/or email address.

You can find your user ID by going to the new User Profile and looking at the very bottom of the page (blurred for privacy purposes) you will see your user ID listed as “UserID”. This is also where your emoji and password are located, so it’s important to keep this in a safe place. It is a good idea to also copy and paste this into your password manager so that you can easily access it should you forget your user ID or password.
